I led a team of Product Designers, UX Writers, and Motion Designers to craft Spotify's 2022 Wrapped in-product experience, working hand-in-hand with Brand. Together with product and engineering leads, we dug into what didn't work in 2021 and shaped a better experience for 2022, making sure we shipped on time.
We discovered that too many eligible users had missed out on their 2021 Wrapped, so we made it our mission to bring them back. We redesigned the experience to be more accessible, delightful, and shareable to spread the word.
The results? Within 48 hours of launch, 2022 Wrapped blew past the previous year's numbers. We also took home two Webby Awards (Best Mobile Visual Design – Aesthetic and Best Branded Editorial Experience) and a Gold Lion at Cannes.
